(1) This is probably the quickest way, but a little more complicated....
Take I-90 (thruway) west to exit 36
Follow signs for 81-south
Get off at Hiawatha/Bear Street exit
Follow signs for Bear Street
Take a right on Bear Street
Continue on Bear Street to 690 West on-ramp.
Take 690 west to exit 7 (Fairgrounds/Solvay); this off-ramp splits into a
"Y", stay to the right, heading towards the NYS Fair.
At the 2nd light take a left onto Bridge Street
Take Bridge Street to the end
At the light, take a right onto Milton Avenue
At the first light, take a left onto Cogswell Ave
Continue on Cogswell until the first stop sign
Take a left at the stop sign, field will be on your right.
2) This is a little bit longer but easier....
Take I-90 to exit 39 (Fairgrounds)
Follow signs for 690 East
Continue on 690 until the Fairgrounds exit.
At the light on the off-ramp you want to continue straight onto Bridge
Street.
Take Bridge Street to the end
At the light, take a right onto Milton Avenue
At the first light, take a left onto Cogswell Ave
Continue on Cogswell until the first stop sign
Take a left at the stop sign, field will be on your right.

* New York State Thruway to Exit 31 - Utica
* Take Genesee Street South to Burrstone Road
* Turn right on to Burrstone Road
* Turn left on to Sunset Avenue to Stadium
Fastest from Thruway
* NY State Thruway to exit 31 Utica
* Bare left and follow signs to Rt 12 / Rt 5 / Rt 8 .. South
* Travel on Rt 12 / Rt 5 / Rt 8 South and exit at Burrstone Rd /
Faxton Hospital Exit
* Turn right on to Burrstone Road
* Turn left on to Sunset Avenue to Stadium
DIRECTIONS: BYAA FIELD; BOONVILLE, NY
Boonville field (BYAA):
(About 26 minutes) From NYS Thruway exit 31 Utica or Marcy, bare left and
follow signs to Rt12 North. Travel Rt 12 north to Boonville. When you arrive
in the Village of Boonville you will pass through a traffic light ( A gas
station and Hawkinsville Rd. intersection will be on your right) stay on Rt
12 just passed the car dealership about 400Ft on your right you will see a
sign that says Boonville Youth Sporting Complex. The field is up that
hill/road and there is parking up top, in the middle and down below the
field..
If you pass a Village park with a pool or a Covered bridge you went to far!
From Rome:
(About 24 minutes) Take Rt 46 North to Boonville. Just passed the School at
the light on Main St - Downtown Boonville take a right and travel to Rt 12.
Go right onto Rt 12 South and the field and sign is about 600Ft on your
left. If you come to the car dealership you've gone too far.

From the East
New York State Thruway Exit 31, (Utica)
Off the Thruway exit bear right follow signs for Route 49 West
Follow Route 49 approximately 12 miles to Griffiss Technology Park Exit (Route
825)
Follow Route 825 through the Technology Park. You will pass a traffic signal,
traffic circle
stay on 825), and a second traffic signal. Continue on 825 (approximately .5
miles) until you
pass a B-52 on the right. Take the right turn (Perimeter Road) just past the
B-52. Field is on the
right. Parking is just past the field on the right.
From the West
New York State Thruway Exit 33 (Verona)
Bear right off the Thruway exit on to route 365 east. Follow route 365 to exit
for Griffiss
Technology Park (Route 825) ( do not take downtown Rome exit)
Follow Route 825 through the Technology Park. You will pass a traffic signal,
traffic circle
(stay on 825), and a second traffic signal. Continue on 825 (approximately .5
miles) until you
pass a B-52 on the right. Take the right turn (Perimeter Road) just past the
B-52. Field is on the

From the North
Route 26 South
As you enter Rome turn left at the first traffic signal (Chestnut Street)
Follow Chestnut Street to the Griffiss Technology Park. As you enter the park,
you will see a B-52.
Turn left (Perimeter Road) just before the B-52. Field is on the right. Parking
is just past
the field on the right.
Alternate Route from the North
Route 12 South to Route 365 West
Route 365 to Route 825 (Griffiss Technology Park)
Follow Route 825 through the Technology Park. You will pass a traffic signal,
traffic circle
(stay on 825), and a second traffic signal. Continue on 825 (approximately .5
miles) until
you pass a B-52 on the right. Take the right turn (Perimeter Road) just past the

From the South
Route 81 North to Route 481 North to New York State Thruway
New York State Thruway Exit 33 (Verona)

Hey Guys,
I have been informed that there is a Boxing Hall of Fame parade down Main St Canastota on Sunday June 8th between
11:30AM and 2:00PM.I have been told that the Village blocks off Main St. during the above times so I have
included some alternate directions to the Canastota HS field to avoid the Thruway parade festivities. The best way
is Rt. 5 from any direction!

From East Utica Rome
Exit 33 Verona/Rome exit Off exit and take a left onto
Rt365 to Oneida Stay on Rt.365 past the Casino till it
reaches Rt.5 in Oneida Castle Take a Right onto Rt.5
Travel Rt.5 through Oneida You will pass through Oneida,
pass Nye Ford and Wal-Mart(the 5-corners)After you pass
Wal-Mart you will travel about 1 ½ miles to your next
traffic light in the Village of Wampsville(Intersection
of Rt.5 and Court St.)Take a Right at this traffic light
onto North Court St. Stay on North Court St for about 3
miles(you will pass Colman's Tavern) and start looking
for a left hand turn onto Roberts St.(if you are still
on Court St and come to a Bridge under construction ...
you've gone to far? Turn around and go back)take a left
onto Roberts Rd and travel about 4 miles till you see the
High School field.... You can't miss it. (School is
near the end of Roberts Rd and Peterboro St intersection.

Travel on Rt.5 from Utica/Clinton
Stay on Rt.5 thru Vernon, Sherrill, Oneida and past
NYE Ford and Wal-Mart.After you pass Wal-Mart you
will travel about 1 ½ miles to your next traffic light
in the Village of Wampsville (Intersection of Rt.5 and
Court St.)
Take a Right at this traffic light onto North Court St.
Stay on North Court St for about 3 miles (you will pass
Colman's Tavern) and start looking for a left hand turn
onto Roberts St.(if you are still on Court St and come
to a Bridge under construction ...you've gone to far?

onto Rt365 to Oneida. Stay on Rt.365 past the Casino,

to Rt.365A. Take a right onto Rt.365A (Prospect St.)thru
Oneida till it reaches Rt.5(at Wal-Mart in the 5 corners).
Take a Right onto Rt.5 (with Wal-Mart on your right)
Once you pass Wal-Mart you will travel on Rt.5 about 1-½
miles to your next traffic light in the Village of

Take a Right at this traffic light onto North Court St.

(find your way to Rt.5)
Traveling on Rt.5 from Chittenango
Travel Rt.5 to Canastota
Once in Canastota travel paste Main St to the next left
hand turn onto SouthPeterboro St./Rt.13
Travel on S. Peterboro St/Rt.13 past Canal St.
Look for the High School on the corner of Peterboro St
and Roberts St. I believe you will have better access to
the baseball field off of Roberts. Rd side
